Proposal Writer

MVE Institutional has a unique opportunity in our Irvine, CA headquarters office for a Proposal Writer. The ideal candidate must be an energetic, independent problem solver, detail-oriented and a professional self-starter. Candidate will work with the Business Development Director and assist with proposal writing and execution (RFQs and RFPs); additional responsibilities involve PowerPoint presentations, marketing brochures, and other related tasks.

The candidate must articulate, professional, confident and possess a strong work ethic, as well as be a team player with the necessary skills to also work independently. Flexibility and the desire to learn are significant attributes for the candidate we are seeking for this position. The individual must have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate must also have excellent judgment, keen analytical and critical thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities, organizational skills and demonstrate follow-through.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three to five years relevant experience required
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop required, Illustrator a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
  • Previous experience in the Architecture/Engineering industry strongly desired
  • Experience with Standard Form (SF330)
