Serafin A. Zasueta, Ph.D.

Dr. Zasueta, President Emeritus retired from Higher Education after 37 years in public Education. He served as the Superintendent/President of the Southwestern Community College District and also was the Vice President/Provost at Cerritos College and Irvine Valley College. Prior to becoming an administrator Dr. Zasueta taught for 20 years in Higher Education and grades K-12.

Dr. Zasueta has studied Leadership Development and has earned certificates in Management at Harvard University. He also completed a post-doctorate as a Research Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles. In his career he has had the lead responsibility for the planning and building of three Higher Education Centers, College Libraries/Learning Resource Center, Child Development Center, Aquatics Center, Playground facilities, Student Center and modernization of College facilities.

Dr. Zasueta is presently a Consultant in the area of Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership Development as well as the Educational Liaison for Higher Education with MVE Institutional.
