CSUF Student Residential Complex

Cal State Fullerton selected MVE Institutional in 2008 to be one of the participants for a design competition aimed at resolving the increasing demand for on-campus housing. This video encapsulates MVEI's solution - an open and flowing student residential housing complex that integrates campus with relation to social spaces. Inspired by European paseo and courtyard planning, the design promotes public interaction by organizing buildings into outdoor living rooms, or social gardens, which can be used for year round academic and social activities.
