The design team's goal is to provide for a student/pedestrian "connectivity" throughout the campus, establishing a neighborhood within a neighborhood. The campus plan provides for a series of two-story, clustered, building formed spaces to be utilized for extra-curricular uses and curriculum learning disciplines by staff and students. A central quad area positioned at the forefront of the campus may be used for student activities and neighborhood gatherings. Sensitive to the required open play field space requirement, parking will be provided underground. Private garage access for staff will be provided behind the multi-purpose building to the east, while visitors and parents utilize the drop-off area in front of the school.

Another concern was to provide for a safe "walkable" connection to the neighborhood park and also address the existing residential neighborhood context. To provide for this challenge, classroom systems are clustered together. Each courtyard classroom building contains approximately 1/3 of the required classrooms/learning program required. The courtyard design provides for an internal communal neighborhood within the campus plan, allowing each of the courtyard spaces to contribute differently to a selected learning curriculum of choice. The two-story massing of each of these buildings provides appropriate scale considerations to fit within the local context.
